Casablanca is undergoing a major urban transformation with the development of a new mixed-use precinct on the city's western edge. Strategically positioned along a key north-south arterial road, the project seamlessly integrates office and residential spaces, balancing functionality with livability.
The site is divided into two distinct zones: office spaces on the west, facing the dynamic street, and residential units on the east, overlooking a serene park. This duality is reflected in the architectural design. The office building’s facade embraces the city's structured rhythm with a precise grid of horizontal and vertical lines, conveying order and professionalism. In contrast, the residential building, inspired by the organic flow of the adjacent park, features a curvilinear form—a bold ellipsoid carved into a rectangular volume—creating openness and fluidity.
The park-facing residential facade fosters a strong indoor-outdoor connection, offering residents sweeping views of the greenery. Meanwhile, the office facade aligns with the energy of the commercial corridor, scaled and detailed to complement its urban surroundings. A cohesive material palette and unified window detailing harmonize the contrasting forms, ensuring a seamless architectural identity that integrates nature and city life.
